Jennifer Salzman
Jennifer Salzman is the founder and Executive Director of The Heights Ellis County Family Resources, a Family Justice Center dedicated to supporting victims of domestic abuse, violence, and sexual assault. Her passion for advocacy is deeply personal, shaped by her own family’s experiences with trauma and loss.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Texas Christian University (TCU). Before founding The Heights, Jennifer was involved in their family’s cabinetry business, which has partnered with numerous local organizations supporting women and children in need.
Jennifer is dedicated to changing the way communities respond to domestic abuse by advocating for a collaborative, trauma-informed approach through the Family Justice Center movement. She believes in the power of bringing resources together to better serve families in crisis.
Jennifer and her husband, Jared- a Lt. with the Fort Worth Police Department- have been married for 22 years and have two sons. Her mission is to ensure that no family has to navigate the challenges of abuse alone and to provide a path to safety and hope.
